Upstart Life Sciences Capital Ups Commitments To $7.1M
Salt Lake City-based Upstart Life Sciences Capital, a venture firm focused on Unversity life science spinouts, has reached $7.18M in commitments to its $28.5M fund, according to a regulatory filing by the firm Thursday. The fund's General Partners are Steve Borst, Dennis Farrar, and Theodore Stanley. At least one of the firm's LPs include the Utah Fund of Funds, which lists Upstart in its portfolio. Borst and Farrar are previously from Q Therapeutics, and Stanley is Chairman of ZARS.
