eSoft Sues Competitor
Broomfield, Colorado-based eSoft, a developer of Internet web filtering software, said late Wednesday that it has filed a lawsuit against Rulespace LLC, for misappropriation of its intellectual property. eSoft claims that RuleSpace stole intellectual property associated with its SiteFilter database and categorization technology, claiming that RuleSpace secretly gained access to its technology and database. The firm is seeking an injunction against RuleSpace. The lawsuit was filed in the District Court for the City and County of Broomfield, Colorado.
