FreeWave Technologies: Strong Growth, Hiring
Boulder-based FreeWave Technologies, a developer of spread spectrum and other radios for data transmission, reported earlier this week that the firm is seeing strong growth and continues to hire. The firm said, despite the economy, the firm is increasing its year-to-year headcount, and is filling sales and product management positions. The firm did not disclose financials. FreeWave also said it has paid out the third installment of the $9M, equity bonus payout which came out of the firm's $113M buyout by private equity firm TA Associates back in June of 2007.
