Insight Names IKON, IBM Veteran to Board
Tempe, Arizona-based Insight Enterprises reported Wednesday that it has appointed Robert F. Woods to its board of directors, effective immediately. The provider of information technology hardware, software and services said Woods will serve as an independent director and will join the board's audit committee. Insight noted that Woods previously worked for IKON Office Solutions Inc., where he was senior vice president and chief financial officer, from 2004-09. Before that, Insight continued, he spent nine years with IBM, which included a two-year stint as vice president and treasurer and another two-year run as vice president and controller.
