Tallika Acquired By New York Firm
Tallika Corporation, a provider of design engineering services for the semiconductor industry which has operations in both Phoenix and Chennai, India, has been acquired, according to New York-based SMSC. SMSC, which provides design services for the analog, digital, and mixed-signal semiconductor industry, said that it has acquired a team of approximately 50 engineers from Tallika, in a deal which is worth $3.4M. SMSC said the deal is expected to close in August of this year. Tallika's U.S. headquarters were based in Mesa, Arizona.
