Sony Buys Tucson Game Firm
Sony Online Entertaiment said Monday that it has acquired the online strategy game PoxNora from Tucson, Arizona-based Octopi LLC. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. According to Sony, it has acquired PoxNora and other key assets for future game development from Octopi. Octopi's development team will form a new Tucson studio for the gaming company. Sony Online Entertainment said that the transaction close on Friday; the new studio will work with Sony's Denver studios on strategy games and other projects.
