ViaWest Expands In Dallas
Denver-based ViaWest reported Monday that it has broken ground on its 16th enterprise-class data center. According to the colocation and managed hosting services provider, the new facility will be located in Dallas' InfoMart complex—ViaWest's fifth data center at that location and its sixth in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. ViaWest said it expects the new location to open in the fourth quarter. ViaWest noted that the facility will offer more than 260,000 square-feet of raised floor space and will be staffed round-the-clock. Viawest is a provider of server colocation services, used by enterprises to manage and maintain their web and other servers.
