CSU Ventures Hires CEO, Eyes Seed Investment Fund
Fort Collins, Colorado-based CSU Ventures, the CSU effort to connect business to university research, said this week that it has named Dr. Ronald Marler as the firm's CEO. Marler is a current member of the CSU Ventures board of directors. Current CEO Mark Wdowik is heading up a new initiative to build a for-profit, seed investment fund focused on CSU start-ups and key research partners. According to CSU Ventures, Marler has more than 30 years in pharmaceutical research and product development, and is currently a senior administrator at Mayo Clinic Arizona and Chief Scientific Officer and board member of Bridge Laboratories.
