MPC Rolls Out Email Archiving Product
Nampa, Idaho-based MPC Computers said this morning that it has launched a new, email archiving appliance. MPC said its MPC MailFRAME product automated capturing, storing, and retrieving email messages. According to MPC, the appliance can be used to search and retrieve archived messages from any open-standards-based message server, including Microsoft Exchange or Lotus Notes. The device starts at $7,999. The firm said that the archiving appliance was the result of the addition of Gateway's server and storage products. MPC purchased Gateway's Professional business in September.
