ProStor Links With Storage Management Software Firm
Boulder, Colorado-based ProStor Systems, a manufacturer of removable disk storage devices, announced yesterday that BridgeHead Software's data lifecycle management application now supports ProStor's new InfiniVault archive appliance. ProStor's InfiniVault product is a removable disk archive system for small and medium enterprises based on the firm's RDX removable disk technology. Bridgehead is the maker of HT ISM, is an integrated storage management software product which provides automated, policy-based lifecycle management. The software package is used for disaster recovery, compliance, and other storage management. The announcement came in conjunction with ProStor's rollout of its archiving appliances yesterday.
