OpenLogic Ships Open Source Inventory Tool
Broomfield, Colorado-based OpenLogic said today that it has made a new, open source discovery tool available for free. The firm said that the new software allows enterprises to inventory open source software installed on computer systems, and works on Windows, Linux, and Solaris platforms. The OpenLogic Discovery software is available for download from the firm's web site. OpenLogic is a provider of software for managing and auditing use of open source projects within enterprises; the firm's customers use their tools to ensure use of certified libraries and compliance with policies on use of open source projects.
