Ancestry.com Releases New Immigration Records
Provo, Utah-based Ancestry.com said today that it has added what it calls the world's largest online collection of U.S. historical immigration records to its collection. The firm, which provides online resources for researching family history, said that it has added U.S. passenger lists from 1820 to 1960, with over 100 million names. The online records were culled from microfilm, libraries, and museums, including the entire collection of passenger records from Ellis Island.
