Private equity firm The Carlyle Group has acquired Broomfield, Colorado-based UC4 Software, a provider of enterprise job scheduling software. Terms were not disclosed. Carlyle said that it acquired UC4 Software in partnership with the CEO and Founder, Franz Beranek and the management team. UC4 is based in Wolfsgraben Austria but maintains US operations in Broomfield. UC4's software is used by midsize, large, and global customers, and works with SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, and Siebel software. UC4 employes 145 people globally.
