MedPlast Buys Orthoplastics

Tempe, Arizona-based MedPlast, a provider of plastics manufacturing technology for the healthcare market, announced this morning that it has acquired Orthoplastics, a UK-based custom manufacturer of components for the orthopedic device implant market. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Orthoplastics is a custom manufacturer of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) products and components.
