MediConnect Global In Extended Medicare Pilot

Salt Lake City-based MediConnect Global reported today that its myMediConnect personal health record software has been included as part of an extended, Medicare pilot program. According to the firm, the pilot--which is running in Utah and Arizona--allows claims data from Medicare to be automatically added to personal health records in its software. The firm said it is one of four firms which are part of the pilot, which now has been extended through June 2011. The pilot originally was slated to end in December.
