Medical Imaging Holdings Buys Colorado Firm, Creates New Venture

Golden, Colorado-based Medical Imaging Holdings, a new firm created by private equity firm Galen Partners, said yesterday that it has acquired two firms in the medical imaging equipment market. Medical Imaging Holdings said it acquired Barrington Medical Imaging, LLC and Echoserve, Inc. and said it would use those two firms to create a new, nationwide provider of medical imaging equipment based in Golden. Echoserve was based in Golden and provided equipment, services, and parts for hospitals, imaging centers, clinics, and others.
