McDATA Gets Win In Canada

Broomfield, Colorado-based McData has scored another win for its products, saying that the Ontario, Canada Durham School District is now using the product's storage are network equipment. The school district is tapping McData's 4700 Fabric switches for connecting its facilties to a central data center for tape backup and recovery. The school district migrated around a 100 direct attached storage systems into a single Fibre Channel storage area network with McData's equipment. McData is a provider of Fibre Channel and other data storage products.
