MarkMonitor Gets $12M In Funding

San Francisco-based MarkMonitor, which has its finance and operations center in Boise, Idaho, said today it has raised $12M in venture capital funding. The round was led by Cargill Ventures, and included participation by Focus Ventures, Foundation Capital, and Institutional Venture Partners. MarkMonitor provides online corporate identity monitoring, used by companies to detect trademark and intellectual property violation. MarkMonitor was founded in Boise, but merged with a California company in 2003. As part of the funding, Monica Morse of Cargill will join its board of directors. More information »
