MapQuest Syncs With Ford
Denver-based MapQuest, the online mapping site now owned by AOL, said Thursday that it has linked its services up to Ford Motor Company. The site said that it has launched a new service which allows MapQuest users to search for destinations, and then "beam" those directors to Ford, Lincoln or Mercury cars. The firm said the service works with vehicles equipped with the SYNC Traffic, Directions, and Information service. No information on financial aspects of the deal were announced.
