Local Matters Upgrades Local Search Platform

Denver, Colorado-based Local Matters has rolleds out a new version of its local search software, the company announced today. The company said that its Destination Search platform adds adds visual, map-oriented searches that allow users to initiate or organize searches using local maps. The new capabilities include a "Find Nearby" function that allows customers to find nearby businesses, and the highlighting of local shopping areas. Local Matters develops software targeted at Yellow Page publishers.
