LinkSmart Raises $4.7M, Launches Out Of Stealth

Boulder-based LinkSmart said this morning that it has launched out of stealth mode, and has raised $4.7M in funding from Foundry Group, Sutter Hill Ventures, and Costanoa Venture Capital. The firm is led by Pete Sheinbaum, who previously was COO and CEO of DailyCandy, and which he sold to Comcast in 2008. LinkSmart develops a text link optimization product aimed at web publishers, whichhelps them manage their text links and which the firm says helps improve negagement on publishers' web sites.
