LinkSmart Installs Publishing Vet As VP

Boulder-based LinkSmart, the venture-backed provider of text link optimization software for web publishers, has turned to a publishing industry veteran for its businss development efforts. The firm said this morning that it has named Mike Stigliano, who was most recently Director of Business Development at Hearst Digital, as its new VP of Business Development. Stigliano helped managed partnership and strategy across such properties as RealBeauty.com and thedailygreen.com. he also served at Conde Nast, and co-founded ParentWeb Media. LinikSmart is venture backed by Foundry Group, Sutter Hill Ventures, and Costanoa Venture Capital. The firm's software helps optimize links in online web publications.
