Limelight Wins Ocean Spray

Tempe, Arizona-based content delivery network provider Limelight Networks has scored a win over at Ocean Spray Cranberries, according to Limelight. Limelight reported that Oeean Spray is using the company's content delivery network, to help provide better performance for its global customers. The companies asid that Ocean Spray's efforts came as it has expanded sales and distribution on a global scale, and found that it needed to provide a quicker and more consistent delivery of its content to websites in the EMEA, APAC, and South America. Financial impact of the deal was not announced. Limelight's content delivery network (CDN) caches content at local data centers, which accelerates the speed of which that information can be delivered to users in a specific geographic area.
