Limelight Reports Favorable Ruling In Patent Suit

Tempe, Arizona-based content deliver network (CDN) provider Limelight reported over the weekend that the firm has scored a ruling in its favor, over a patent lawsuit. Limelight said that it was granted a motion for judgement in a patent lawsuit filed against the firm by competing CDN provider Akamai. Limelight said that the ruling found that Limelight does not infringe on Akamai's patent. The patent in the suite was U.S. Patent No. 6,108,703; the lawsuit was filed int he United State District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
