Lijit Acquired By Federated Media

Boulder-based Lijit, the online ad network and blog widget developer, announced this morning that it has been acquired by Federated Media, the online advertising rep firm headed by John Battelle. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Lijit said it was first approached by Federated Media in May. Lijit was venture backed by Boulder Ventures, High Country Venture, Highway 12 Ventures, and The Foundry Group, and had raised around $27M in funding.
