Level 3 To Be Acquired By CenturyLink For $34 Billion

Broomfield, Colorado-based Level 3 is being acquired by CenturyLink, the two companies announced this morning, confirming earlier rumors of an acquisition deal in the works. According to the two, the deal is valued at $34 billion in cash and stock. CenturyLink said it would pay $26.50 per share for Level 3. Both companies are major providers of broadband connectivity.
