Lendio Lands Funding

South Jordan, Utah-based Lendio, which is focused on helping small business owners find lenders and secure loans, said today that it has closed a Series A round of funding, raising $6M. The firm, which is led by Brock Blake, said the funding came from Highway 12 Ventures and GSA Venture Partners (formerly Greenhill SAVP), along with Omniture founder Josh James. Lendio was formerly known as FundingUniverse, and had originally focused on matching entrepreneurs with angel investors, but has since focused on debt financing. More information »
