LandNet Gets Patent, Looks For Buyer

Loveland, Colorado-based LandNet Corp., a provider of the LandVoyager Internet-based mapping tools, has received a patent, the company announced today. The patent, number 7,054,741, is entitled "Land software tool" and was granted by the USPTO on May 30th. The patent was originally filed in February of 2003, and names Craig D. Harrison and James J. Graham as inventors. LandVoyage said that it is exploring opportunities to sell its Internet mapping business and its existing and future patents, and has engaged Sarowdin Partners to manage the sale process. LandVoyage's service provides mapping and navigation of USGS topo and aerial images.
