Kapost Gets $1.1M

Boulder-based Kapost, an online service which allows publishers to crowdsource and edit news and submissions, has raised $1.1M in a Series A funding. The firm--which is part of TechStars' Boulder 2010 class--received the round from High Country Venture and Highway 12 Ventures. Kapost was formerly known as Grogger, and changed its name in July. The firm offers up a variety of subscription plans for the service, depending on the number of contributors and branding support required by a web publisher. More information »
