JDA Completes $575M Recapitalization

Scottsdale, Arizona-based JDA Software Group, said this morning that it has completed its previously announced $575M recapitalization with Blackstone and New Mountain Capital. The deal had been announced in August. JDA said the deal and related refinancing have reduced the company's total debt by approximately $500M. JDA went with the recapitalization and financing deal from Blackstone and New Mountain Capital after turning down a $3 billion buyout from Honeywell.
