Ivanti Acquires RES Software

Salt Lake City-based Ivanti, a developer of IT automation software, said on Wednesday that it has acquired RES Software, a provider of digital workspace software. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Ivanti, which is backed by Clearlake Capital, said the deal will extend its leadership in user workspace environment management.
