Intermap Expands Executive Staff

Three-dimensional digital mapping firm Intermap Technologies Corp. announced earlier this week that it has bolstered its executive staff in the United States and Germany with the hirings of three automotive industry experts. The Denver-based company said Steven Zaroukian will serve as director of automotive business development for North America and Asia from his Detroit offices. Zaroukian, Intermap noted, is a 25-year industry veteran who hails from Panasonic Automotive Systems and Johnson Controls. Intermap said Stefan Engels will fill the role of director of business development for the company’s automotive divisions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Engels, Intermap explained, boasts a dozen years of relevant experience and has worked for PTV AG, Motorola, ReBASE International, Deutsche Telekom, DaimlerChrysler Services and UPS Deutschland. Intermap also said it hired Klaus Schönke as customer program manager for its Munich office. Intermap described Schönke as a 17-year veteran who previously worked for Infineon and Siemens.
