Intermap, Software Provider Cover UK, Germany

Denver, Colorado-based Intermap Technologies has signed an agremeent with a German firm, Definiens AG, to provide coverage of Germany and the United Kingdom. The firm said that the two will develop a product called EARThemes, which will provide radar imagery, digital surface models, and IFSAR data for all of Germany and the United Kingdom. Terms were not disclosed. The product is targeted at local and state government agencies and commercial enterprises and uses such as urban planning, and forestry and agriculture management.
