Intermap Launches Web Subscriptions

Denver-based Intermap, the provider of geographical information system data, said today that it has added a web-based, subscription service for customers of its NEXTMap products. The firm said it has added a web-based store, which will allow customers to purchase monthly subscription to its data, or make one-time purchases. The firm said the new services will "dramatically reduce" the cost of storing, maintaining, and disseminating mapping data. The new subscription services include a per-square-kilometer plan; a monthly, per-user/per-county subscription; a monthly enterprise per user/per state subscription; and a custom subscription plan.
