Intermap Eyes Microwave Tower Planning

Denver-based Intermap Technologies, a provider of digital mapping products, said today that it has added a Web-based application specifically for microwave link planning. The firm said the application is aimed at enhancing accurate placement of wireless transmission towers in Europe and the U.S., and delivers precise 3D terrain profiles. The product is aimed at the telecommunications industry, for users building, engineering, and planning their microwave networks. Pricing on the new product was not announced.
