Intelliden Acquired By IBM

Intelliden, a venture-backed maker of network automation and management software, has been acquired by IBM, IBM said this morning. Intelliden was started and maintains operations in Colorado Springs, but now has its headquarters in Silicon Valley. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. IBM said that Intelliden will become part of its IBM Tivoli Software division, and help bolster its service management portfolio. Impact of the acquisition on Intelliden's Colorado Springs operations was not announced. Intelliden was venture backed by 3i Ventures, GGV Capital, Hercules Technology Growth Capital, Matrix Partners, mortonsgroup LLC, TELUS Ventures, and Westbury Partners, and had raised over $33.5M.
