Instacart Launches Grocery Delivery In Boulder

One hour, grocery delivery service Instacart has launched its services in Boulder, saying that it has begun delivering orders from Costco, King Soopers, and Whole Foods Market to residents of Boulder, as part of an expansion of its service. The Silicon Valley-based grocery delivery service is backed by Andreessen Horowitz, and recently raised a big, $44M Series B funding for expansion. Instacart said it will initially cover Boulder, Lafayette, and Louisville with its service. Boulder is the fifteenth city covered by Instacart, which taps crowdsourced "personal shoppers" who shop for and deliver groceries for the company.
