IHS Sells Off Operational Excellence & Risk Management Unit

Englewood, Colorado-based IHS has sold its former Operational Excellence & Risk Management business in a carve out, to private equity investor Genstar Capital. Financial terms of the sale were not announced. The IHS OERM business is based in Chicago. Genstar Capital said that OERM has over 500 employees, and will be led by Paul Marushka, the former President of Marsh ClearSight.
