IHS Completes RootMetrics Buy

Englewood, Colorado-based IHS announced this morning that it has completed its acquisition of RootMetrics, a provider of mobile network analytics for mobile operators. The deal had been announced on April 6th. Financial details of the deal have not been announced. IHS said RootMetrics will remain in Bellevue, Washington, where it is headquarters. RootMetrics adds around 170 employees with the acquisition. RootMetrics offers up wireless coverage maps to those mobile operators and other infrastructure providers.
