IBM Files Motion For Summary Judgement Against SCO

IBM filed a slew of summary judgements against SCO earlier this week, asking a judge for summary judgement covering all of SCO's claim against the firm. The six motions, along with supporting filings, cover all of SCO's claims against IBM in its long-running lawsuit. The SCO lawsuit alleges that IBM breached agreements by contributing source code to the open source Linux operating system. The motions come as SCO has been losing ground in the suit, most recently in June when a judge dismissed 182 of 294 claims against IBM, for its failure to provide evidence of IBM's infringement. The case is scheduled to go to trial in February of 2007.
