i4software Hits 1M Flashlight App Downloads

Ever wonder what it takes to sell a million of your apps on the iPhone? Apparently, just a simple app to light up your iPhone flash. Phoenix-based i4software, a developer of mobile apps for the iOS, Android, and other platforms, reports today that its Flashlight app for the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S -- which uses the LED camera flash on the iPhone to use the phone as a flashlight -- just sold its millionth copy on Friday. The app has been available since July of 2010. i4software said it is looking to leverage the popularity of its app to launch a number of entertainment titles.
