Hypercom Buys Australian POS Firm

Phoenix, Arizona-based Hypercom Corporation, a provider of electronic payment solutions, said today that it has acquired the assets of ACG Group Pty Limited, a provider of installation, technical support and help desk services for point-of-sale equipment in Australia. Financial terms were not disclosed. Hypercom provides point-of-sale terminals and gateways for the retail industry. ACG maintains headquarters in Melbourne, and has a service facility in Sydney.
