HOSTING: We Beat Amazon, Rackspace In Cloud Performance

Denver-based managed cloud service provider HOSTING says it is better than both Amazon and Rackspace--citing an independent analysis by Cloud Spectator, an industry publication. According to Hosting.com, the benchmarking tests by Cloud Spectator found that the company's service 67% greater than Rackspace, and 167% greater than Amazon in overall system performance (using Windows). The company's service apparently performed even better when running on Linux. HOSTING attributed its performance in the tests to its "disciplined architecture and operational rigor". The test by Cloud Spectator apparently put HOSTING Cloud Enterprise, Amazon AWS and Rackspace OpenCloud head to head in a 14 day benchmark test.
