HiveLive Acquired By RightNow Technologies

Boulder, Colorado-based HiveLive, a developer of social networking and community software, announced Tuesday afternoon that it has been acquired by Bozeman, Montana-based RightNow Technologies. The deal is worth $6M in cash. According to HiveLive CEO John Kembel, RightNow will combine its CRM solution with HiveLive's online community platform. HiveLive was venture backed by Aeneas Ventures and Grotech Capital Group, and had raised around $6.75M in funding.
