Grow Utah Ventures Opens Contest In Salt Lake

Grow Utah Ventures is rolling out another one of the firm's Concept to Company contests, the group's business idea contest, this time in Salt Lake City. According to Grow Utah Ventures, the contest--which follows a contest held in Ogden, and one in Southern Utah--will award $20,00 in cash and services to a winner and $10,000 to second and third place contestants with the best business ideas and proposals. According to the group, the Salt Lake contest will focus on medical devices and technology. The group's competition is targeted at encouraging entrepreneurism in Utah, and is supported by Zions Bank, USTAR, and Grow Utah Ventures. The deadline for this competition is April 17th.
