Graphicly Gets $1.3M, As Baldwin Steps Away From CEO Role

Graphicly, the developer of software which helps publishers distribute their content via such platforms as Amazon's Kindle, smartphones, tablets, Facebook, and the web, has raised $1.3M in funding, as CEO and founder Micah Baldwin has stepped away from the CEO spot. The company--which was founded in Boulder, but now is based in Palo Alto--disclosed the funding came from Mercury Fund and Dundee Venture Capital. Baldwin has been replaced by David Fox, and has shifted to a product position. Graphicly made a huge shift away from its roots in online publishing of comic books a few years back, and has since been shifting its tools to a more general audience of magazine publishers, book publishers, and others.
