Graphic.ly Gains $3M

Boulder-based Graphic.ly, the online comic book software developer, has raised $3.0M, the firm announced today. The funding was led by DFJ Mercury, and also included 500 Startups, Dundee VC, Ludlow Ventures, and others. The round had earlier been revealed via a regulatory filing. Graphic.ly said the funding will go towards creating a "true digital entertainment experience". Graphic.ly is headed by Micah Baldwin. 500 Startups is one of the new generation of "super angel" funds, and is headed by angel investor Dave McClure. More information »
