GoDaddy Opens Pre-Registration For 14 New Domain Name Extensions

Scottsdale, Arizona-based domain name registrar GoDaddy is extending out its inventory of domain name extensions, ahead of the ICANN's move to new global top level domain (gTLDs). GoDaddy said it has added fourteen new domain name extensions, including .ESTATE, .PHOTOGRAPHY, .VENTURES, .GURU, .BIKE, .CLOTHING, .GALLERY, .SINGLES, .CAMERA, .LIGHTING, .PLUMBING, .EQUIPMENT, .GRAPHICS and .HOLDINGS, as part of the expansion. GoDaddy is providing the new names in a partnership with Donuts, Inc., which has the rights to those new names. GoDaddy said it will begin offering up pre-registration of the new names, ahead ofd availability early next year on the new domains.
