GoDaddy: Looking For Spanish Speakers

At least one company is looking to expand in this economy: domain name registrar GoDaddy.com is calling attention to the firm's plans to hire at least 20, technically skilled Spanish speakers at the company, and has over 100 open positions at the firm. GoDaddy, which is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, said that it is hoping to fill 20 open positions in its Spanish language unit, based in Tempe, who will help its customers set up domain names, web sites, and the firm's other services. The firm said the expansion comes as it has begun to see a "significant spike" in business form Mexico and Spain after adding Spanish language assistance earlier this year. GoDaddy said it now employs over 2,170.
