Go Daddy Donates $500K To Quake Victims

Scottsdale, Arizona-based domain name and web hosting firm Go Daddy said today that it is donating $500,000 as part of a relief effort for victims of the Haiti quake. According to Go Daddy, it is sending the $500K to Hope for Haiti, a group focused on education, nutrition, and healthcare in the country. Hope for Haiti said it will use the funds to rebuild the hospital and orphanage in Port-au-Prince. Go Daddy said it regularly contributes to charitable efforts, and donated nearly $2.5M last year to a wide variety of charities.
